Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
"I joined the Martial Arts Academy and started training in BJJ a year ago. Having never practiced a martial art before I wasn’t 100% sure what I had got myself into. Over the years I have competed at a high level in many different sports, both team and individual; yet training BJJ has been the single most rewarding sporting endeavour I have had the pleasure of being part of.
The team of trainers and support staff are professional and highly approachable and facilities are first rate. New comers, irrespective of age, experience or physical condition are all warmly welcomed and the camaraderie within the training group is obvious for all to see.
I would recommend the Martial Arts Academy to anyone looking for a new challenge. Come down, join in and I’ll see you on the mats".
