Master James Rimmer
Master James Rimmer began his training at the Khandallah branch under Mr Davidson in July 1983. He eventually became the instructor of the Khandallah branch, then started his own club in Tauranga in August 1987.
Master Rimmer was a key member of the Taekwon-Do demonstration used in the opening of the 1990 Commonwealth Games and took part in demonstrations with the New Zealand Demonstration Team in Tauranga. A member of the ITFNZ Technical Advisor Group, Master Rimmer was the Midlands Regional Director in the mid 90s and became an Examiner for ITFNZ in 1996. He was promoted to 8th degree in February 2017.
Master Rimmer has attended many World Championships and World Cups around the World as an International Umpire and is one of New Zealands leading umpires.
