Experience has shown us that a lot of people out there want to give MMA a try, but those first steps into the cage can sometimes be intimidating... So we have tailor made this programme to give fans, beginners, over 30's and anyone else looking for a new challenge the opportunity to try out MMA, without the concerns of full contact sparring or being thrown in the cage with a heavily tattooed beast. Our team of coaches will teach you the basics of MMA. Learn striking from our coaching team, including UFC fighter Dylan "the Villain" Andrews. Learn take downs & take down defence. Learn ground & pound. Learn grappling and submissions. Then learn how to get back to your feet. This 8 week course (training up to 3 x weekly), was designed to give the beginner MMA student the basic know how and skills to either further their training, or increase their enjoyment of a sport they are already fanatical about. Whether you have never set foot in a martial arts gym before or if you have some experience, this course is ideal for you. Students will be able to train at their own level. Sparring is limited to simulation drills in this MMA Basics Level 1 programme. Classes will be held on Monday & Wednesday at 7pm and Friday at 5.30pm. The normal retail price for these classes will be $360.00 for the eight week course, but we are offering a special deal of $190.00 for the full 8 week course, to our members who sign up before June 22nd. This block course begins on June 29th, will run for 8 weeks and will end with an assessment on Friday August 14th. Act now and sign up before the course is full.
